Clinical Research Center Facilities
Getting to the Clinical Research Center
The Clinical Research Center is located on the 2nd Floor of the UIC Neuropsychiatric Institute (NPI).
The facility includes:
- Outpatient area, including examination and procedure rooms
- Specimen processing laboratory
- Physiology laboratory
- Off campus assistance with clinical research procedures may be available; please contact the CRC for more details.
Directions
Standard Building Entry:
- Enter the building through the main entrance at 912 South Wood Street
- Enter the south tower lobby to the left and proceed through the security check point
- To reach the second floor, take elevators located around the corner to the left or proceed up the stairs
- Exit the elevator and turn right or turn left at the top of the stairs
- Directly in front of you will be a set of double doors to the Clinical Research Center
Accessible Entry via the Neuropsychiatric Institute’s Rear Courtyard:
- Follow the signs to the UI Cancer Center and proceed up the sidewalk toward the courtyard and turn right.
- Proceed to the south tower lobby through the doors on your right. Enter the south tower lobby to the left and proceed through the security check point
- To reach the second floor, take elevators located around the corner to the left
- Exit the elevator and turn right, directly in front of you will be a set of double doors to the Clinical Research Center
Accessible Entry via the UI Health Outpatient Care Center:
- Take the elevators to the second floor and proceed to the north tower
- Continue to walk straight past the north elevator bank to enter the Neuropsychiatric Institute via the bridge (you will see a separate bridge to UI Health Hospital on the right).
- The Clinical Research Center is through the double doors at end of the hall to the left.
