Jagnyesh's expertise in understanding clinical data and healthcare data standards allows him to help researchers overcome challenges around data discovery and providing them with high quality data to work with. He believes high quality data produces precise research results and factual representation of real-world scenarios for researchers.

Skilled in Healthcare Data Standards, Data Models and Terminologies which helps in building robust data warehouse(s) with a focus on data quality, Jagnyesh work with Senior Bioinformaticians in CCTS to improve the data quality of existing data and build newer data models within the CRDW.

Prior to joining CCTS, Jagnyesh worked on data warehousing and interoperability solutions as a Sr. Business Data Analyst for healthcare payor United Health Group since 2019. His role as Sr. Business Data Analyst comprised of responsibilities where he translated business requirements and logic for engineering teams to develop data engineering/warehousing/reporting solutions. The logic implemented to create data warehouses had to be in-line with the United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) for regulatory compliance.

Jagnyesh also briefly worked with the CDC with the Data Standards Management and Harmonization Work Group as a FHIR Consultant. In this role, he developed recommendation guides for health scientists to enable discovery of appropriate code systems, value sets and Implementation Guides for future submissions of newer and existing data elements for USCDI v4 and USCDI+.
