About

Ibraheem serves as a dedicated CCTS Research Navigator, helping to guide researchers through the intricate landscape of scientific research.

Ibraheem has extensive knowledge about research regulatory and IRB requirements. Before his role at CCTS, Ibraheem spent a decade to working at the UIC Office for Research Subject Protection (OPRS). During this time, he progressed to the position of assistant director for the IRB and point of contact for Western IRB. He also became an Institutional Review Board member.

Ibraheem excels in interpersonal communication and is skilled at effectively conveying information across various levels. He is an active contributor to collaborative efforts and has been a member of the Community Standard Committee since 2018.

With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in kinesiology, specializing in exercise psychology and the promotion of exercise, health, and sports behavior, Ibraheem is dedicated to helping individuals adopt a holistic approach to healthy living, aiming for an improved health span. He seeks to apply this passion to his interactions with UIC study teams, helping move health discoveries along the translational pipeline.
