As a dedicated CCTS Research Navigator, Sydney brings a unique blend of experience and knowledge necessary to guide researchers through the intricate landscape of scientific research. Her guiding principles are to not only help researchers find generalizable solutions, but to also foster a culture of collaboration and innovation by promoting cross-disciplinary team science.
Sydney’s academic and professional career provide a strong foundation for research navigation, as she has held various roles within the research pipeline. Her early career included research assistant positions, graduate assistantships, assistant lecturer postings, and pursuing her own research and thesis. During her psychological sciences master’s program, she honed her skills in data analysis, human subjects research, and project and grant management through a research analyst role for San Diego's government agency.
Sydney’s expertise in social and behavioral research, coupled with her background in applied research, uniquely positions her to assist study teams. She is committed to facilitating future research endeavors by connecting researchers with the essential support services necessary for the success of their research.
