Pilot Project: “Role of CCL28/CCR10/eNOS Signaling in Diabetic Foot Ulcers”
Summary Heading link
Chronic, non-healing diabetic foot ulcers are common in patients with type 2 diabetes, and often result in limb amputation and death, with disproportionate impact on low income populations and communities of color. Drs. Timothy Koh and Richard Minshall talk about their pilot project examining a potential novel therapeutic target to improve healing of diabetic foot ulcers and, ideally, prevent amputations and death.
