CCTS developed and provides ongoing maintenance of the Illinois Saves Overdose website, which we refer to as the “Drug Overdose Prevention Program Portal.” The [TSC] team built a website that is used to report on overdose response training, naloxone kit distribution, and how many lives are saved using naloxone. We use the data from the website to create reports for grant requirements and other needs. Jack Neuner and his team are patient, thoughtful, and thorough. They helped us think through how to make the website easy to navigate and useful for everyone involved. We are grateful for the work they have done to make the portal an effective tool in our work to save lives.
Mining Education and Research Center (MinER) Heading link
MinER approached TSC with the need to transition their data collection process from a 10,000 row MS Excel spreadsheet to something more robust. To accomplish this, TSC began by documenting the complex business rules/requirements and functional needs of the entire project’s workflow. The resulting data system is able to ingest, validate, and process individual data sources via a text file upload. Individual case records can be assigned to a physician for analysis and pass through multiple layers of review. Detailed reporting and search capabilities were developed provide clear status updates on project progress. Additionally, custom reports were developed allowing for dynamically populated PDFs of individual records.
CampusCare Heading link
CampusCare came to TSC with the need to rebuild an existing, outdated administrative system. They also needed a technology upgrade that could be supported by a consistent team to avoid the knowledge lost during Graduate Assistant turnover. TSC worked for several months with CampusCare stakeholders to fully document the business rules (decision-making criteria) and system requirements before completely rebuilding the application to a modern and sustainable standard.
