Peer Support for Research Staff on MS Teams
Overview:
CCTS’s Peer Support for Research Staff Microsoft Teams channel was created as a space to share updates, helpful resources, and information about upcoming educational events.
This chat group is designed to be a convenient, supportive place for research staff to stay informed and connected about what’s happening in the research community.
Community Guidelines:
To maintain a positive and respectful community, members are expected to abide by these principles:
- You are an active or affiliated member of the UIC research community and will use this space for professional purposes only.
- You will engage respectfully and ethically with all members.
- You will adhere to the University of Illinois System’s code of conduct, as well as HIPAA’s data protection policies and confidentiality requirements.
- While the group administrators will do their best to share timely best practices and/or address research related questions, they are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of information shared by other members.
- You acknowledge that participation in this group is voluntary and may be revoked if the above guidelines are not followed.
Enforcement:
To keep this space respectful and productive, moderators may take the following steps if guidelines are not followed:
- Reminder: A private, friendly note about the guideline that was violated
- Warning: A second notice if the behavior continues
- Removal: Continued violations may result in removal from the group
Serious issues (e.g., harassment, discrimination, security concerns) may be escalated immediately in accordance with University of Illinois policies.
