The University of Illinois at Chicago released findings on the largest study ever conducted on Latino health. Funded by the National Institutes of Health, this study examined 16,000 Hispanic/Latino adults between the ages of 18 and 74 from four U.S. cities.  Until now, research studies lumped all Hispanics into one group, but this study considers the different Latino backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles that can result in different risks and rates of disease.
