Meet the New Biomedical Informatics Coordinator

Recently the CCTS welcomed Ifeanyi "Beverly" Chukwudozie, MPH to the Biomedical Informatics (BI) Core. Beverly will coordinate requests for clinical data from the CCTS Clinical Research Data Warehouse as well as activities relating to the UICollabotatory Research Profiles tool.

Prior to joining CCTS, she worked at the Institute of Health Research and Policy (IHRP) as a project coordinator on various NIH funded projects focused on cancer, environment and health disparities research. While at IHRP, she also coordinated a summer research internship program which provided underrepresented high school and undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing careers in the field of health sciences with an opportunity to understand population science and conduct research in cancer and health disparities. 

Beverly has experience in administrative operations, data collection and quality control procedures, recruitment of study participants, data analysis, survey development and geographic information system. She loves working with data and performing spatial analysis. Beverly received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Microbiology from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria (2002) and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health (2010).
