Inaugural Daniel Swartzman Public Health Ethics Lecture
Named in honor of Professor Swartzman for his exceptional career promoting social justice, this endowed lecture ensures that the area of public health ethics will forever be a part of the UIC School of Public Health’s efforts to educate tomorrow’s best and brightest leaders.
The evening’s keynote speaker is DR. LISA M. LEE, an epidemiologist and public health ethicist. Dr. Lee is the founding Chair of the American Association of Public Health (APHA) Ethics Section and served as Executive Director of President Obama’s Bioethics Commission.
